All Saints’ mission is to create a warm and inviting collegiate atmosphere that serves as a tool to promote a seriousness of purpose, excitement for learning, social development, and engagement of a spiritual life. The administration’s expectation was that the building should exemplify the values of All Saints Episcopal School to students, staff, parents and the community.
All Saints Episcopal School is regarded as one of the area’s premier preparatory schools. However, they were missing the final piece in a child’s educational journey, a high school. All Saints was looking for an architect that would listen and collaborate to create a facility that would enhance the learning experience for their children. The new high school includes a chapel, administration space, classrooms, fine arts and a gymnasium. Halo architects used a hands-on approach for the design process and designed on the campus with teachers, administrators and parents. This process allowed All Saints to have input in the design of their school and created ownership throughout the All Saints community. By providing all of the facets of a building campaign from Planning, Design, Marketing and Capital Fund-raising for the 65,000 sqft addition/renovation, Halo was able to meet and exceed All Saints’ mission.
