The West Texas Family Medical Group wanted a building that could serve the community and fill a gap in healthcare coverage within their region. A place where the people of Plainview, Texas and surrounding communities could go to feel welcomed and comforted in their time of need.

The new clinic is equipped with an urgent care unit, a radiology suite which houses CT, X-ray, Ultrasound and bone densitometry while also providing cosmetic and other services to west Texas. The unique needs of this clinic were to be accomplished within a 40-plus-year-old, recently abandoned farm and ranch store. The location of the structure is central to Plainview and by providing adaptive reuse services, the owner and Halo were able to create a new aesthetic palate for the surrounding businesses to build from.
